MA(Religion)

Our Master of Arts (Religion), or "MAR", degree is a 60 credit-hour program that provides a broad biblical, theological, and historical education.

With 24 credit-hours in Theology and 12 free elective hours, students appreciate the MAR for its strong theological focus coupled with its flexibility. Additional components of the degree include 12 credit-hours in Biblical Studies, 8 credit-hours in Church History, 2 credit-hours in Practical Theology, and the completion of a summative project.

The MAR is a strategic option for students sensing a call to para-church ministry, education, lay leadership within the church, or to completing their education with doctoral studies after their masters program because the student can focus his or her studies on an area of personal interest.
